- Received first boxes of books from Harvestime. Very good information about being a colporteur that I'll add to The Literature Evangelist - Colporteur Resources Wiki. They are focused on providing very low cost paperback books that colporteurs can sell with a good margin.

- Setting up s5 golden master for suse 10.0 on hp
- Setup replacement Fujitsu U810 UMPC with Acronis 11.0 backup made from previous U810. Used an external LG DVD rewriter to boot up Acronis from original disk. The fujitsu u810 has only one USB port, so after booting, unplugged the LG drive, and plugged in external USB Buffalo terastore drive with the backups. Acronis correctly handled the switch in devices.
- Downloaded all fujitsu drivers for windows xp and windows vista. Fujitsu tech support downloads site is cumbersome in that it forces you to agree to the same license agreement for every downloaded driver, it does not remember that you already agreed.
- Updated driver for the video display. It reported at the beginnnig that it was missing some files, but then continued. Windows later said the video drive hung, but the machine kept running. Since reboot everything seems ok. Still haven't tested the screen blanking, just adjusted the timeouts to 15 minutes to test.

- Bought replacement fujitsu u810 from frys. it is a customer return and rather than a $50 discount, they agreed to a $100 discount. The previous customer returned the unit because they were not satisfied with the performance. Bought an external dvd writter by lg powered only by the usb. this should make it much easier to reimage the fujitsu.
- The largest compact flash cards at this time at frys are only 8gb. Thought about putting an 8gb card in the fujitsu for user files, to augment the internal 40gb drive. Also provide a way to remove the user files in the event of a system failure.
