BREAKING NEWS Filling in Van Parking Info: Please make sure that the ‘parked’ section for each van is correct and informative each night. I have noticed that of recent it is not being updated. We have issues with moving vehicles every the morning and trying to avoid parking tickets so this is important. Remember, closest to the office is considered ‘back’, and closer to the garage door is ‘front’. CSR SHIFT: There are basic duties that are expected to be followed during a CSR shift. It seems that things are constantly being over looked. (Exp. Updating the Shift Report, Following through on emails, Daily chores, Double Checking the Reservations on the wall) The tasks are not very time consuming and business is slow enough that there is no reason things should not be done. EH 10.28 COMMUNICATION: After each shift you should be updating the next staff member what went on and what still needs to be done. This includes following through on e-mails. Multiple e-mails were left over the weekend; if you are unsure on how to answer an email please communicate that, don’t just leave it there. Night shift please write notes for the morning shift. EH 10/28 Y2 Self-Guided: The instructions for the self-guided Y2 are now posted. You can find them in the back of all the price binders lists, on the blog & on the main computer desk top. I will go over the procedures with everyone. EH 10.28 Any reservations that come in for Sunday Nov 2nd for Yosemite or Monday Nov 3rd for MW; 1st ask pax if they can change to another day. If not book them on with Extranomical. The changes are already made in A/C to switch reservations. (date of staff party) EH 10.19 ADD MOD on Manifest: We will NOW be adding MOD onto the manifest under the trip name. For multi day trips add the MOD’s for all days. EH 10.19 DBL Check Reservations: During each CSR shift you are responsible to go through the paper reservations! They should not be in there for 3 days. It’s very important to go through these to make sure no mistakes were made for upcoming tours. The kitchen counter gets filthy really quickly. Please don’t ignore the Outlook reminder to wipe it down. 10/23 DH When contacting passengers for pending trips, make sure you use ALL means possible to get a hold of them. Call, e-mail & contact the hotel. Specify in the notes how you contacted them. EH 10/15 The change machines at the car wash do not accept the newer $5 bills (the ones with big purple 5’s on them).
